VANCOUVER, BC (February 8, 2011) – Incognito Software Inc., a global provider of broadband provisioning software and service activation solutions has just announced that a demonstration of Auto-Configuration Server will take place at CableLabs® Winter Conference 2011. The conference takes place in Atlanta, from February 27 to March 1.
The demonstration will reveal how adding ACS extends the capability of Broadband Command Center to allow service providers to deploy multimedia gateway cable modems. This solution will enable providers not only to manage multimedia gateways, but also to expand service to non-cable systems such as DSL, PON, and WiMAX.
Auto-Configuration Server allows service providers to offer advanced IP services using DOCSIS© TR-069 gateways and TR-069-enabled customer premises devices. It also enables them to deploy new device types (thereby opening new service and product models) such as SMB VoIP and IPTV, and to provide HSD service diagnostics.
“One of the main advantages of ACS is that it allows service providers to bring next-generation devices that adhere to both CableLabs specifications and Broadband Forum standards online,” said Stephane Bourque, President and CEO of Incognito Software. “It is truly a remarkable integrated solution that will help future proof a service provider’s network and provide ongoing operational savings.”
