New Support for TR-069 in an Integrated Service Activation and Device Management Solution to be Unveiled at ANGA Cable Show

VANCOUVER, BC (April 21, 2011) – Incognito Software Inc., a global provider of broadband provisioning software and service activation solutions, will introduce support for TR-069 in its integrated service activation and device management solution at the 2011 ANGA Cable Show in Cologne, Germany. Consisting of Service Activation Center and Auto-Configuration Server products, this solution will enable cable operators to manage next-generation IP devices and services. Demonstrations of the solution will take place at Stand G50 in Hall 10.2, May 3 to 5.

Today service providers are striving to deliver new revenue generating services such as Wifi and IPTV through advanced IP devices. They are faced with the challenge of administering and supporting those devices while handling multiple device management standards in their OSS. Together, SAC and ACS provide the functionality to address this challenge, including the ability to expand service to non-cable systems such as DSL, PON, and WiMAX. The integrated solution from Incognito also offers providers the ability to deliver services using converged DOCSIS© and Broadband Forum standard devices. The demonstrations will detail how TR-069 is used to facilitate zero-touch provisioning and diagnostics for improved troubleshooting.

“It is becoming increasingly important for service providers to have a one-stop solution that manages the flow-through provisioning of their services,” said Stephane Bourque, President and CEO of Incognito Software. “The addition of TR-069 service activation functionality to our integrated solution will help service providers achieve just that. This solution streamlines order fulfillment, improves customer experience, and reduces operational cost.”
