Sunrise Communications AG Deploys Broadband Command Center for Centralized DHCP and MAC-less Provisioning

Fully integrated end-to-end MAC-less provisioning solution

VANCOUVER, BC (September 30, 2010) – Incognito Software, a global provider of broadband software provisioning and activation solutions since 1992, announced today that Sunrise Communications AG (Sunrise), the largest private telecommunications provider in Switzerland, has fully deployed Incognito’s Broadband Command Center to automate the delivery of broadband triple-play services to its fixed line customers.

Incognito simplified the interaction between the back office and broadband devices served across the network through a unified, redundant SOAP interface. This enables Sunrise to deliver services to its subscribers in a geographically-redundant and cost effective manner assuring increased security, performance, scalability and stability. Further cost reduction has been achieved through the capabilities of MAC-less provisioning where subscriber and service identification can be translated in a seamless manner from the back office down to the broadband device.

“We are very happy with the rollout of our centralized DHCP solution as it enables the innovative delivery of MAC-less provisioning across our network” said Andreas Pfisterer, CTO of Sunrise Communications AG. “Incognito fully supported the concepts that we envisioned and completed delivery of the solution to a very high standard. Sunrise is very satisfied by the outcome of our partnership with Incognito.”

Broadband Command Center is built on a distributed architecture with support for the latest emerging technologies and standards. Its network and vendor agnostic capabilities facilitate the deployment of data, voice and video services in an efficient and cost effective manner for cable, wireline, wireless and converged network operators.

Centralized DHCP greatly improves the manner in which mobile and fixed line operators provide broadband services to their customers. “Our Broadband Command Center product offering has become all the richer from completing this project with Sunrise,” added Stephane Bourque, President and CEO of Incognito Software. “We are proud to be part of the success of a project that delivers on such advanced provisioning concepts.”
