Press Release: Euskaltel Chooses Incognito Broadband Command Center and Amper Professional Services for its Cable Network

Flexible solution facilitates the deployment of DOCSIS 3.0 based devices and services

VANCOUVER, BC (April 14, 2009) - Incognito Software, a global provider of broadband software provisioning and activation solutions since 1992, and Amper, Spanish leader in integration technologies in broadband and IP Systems, announced today that Euskaltel S.A., the leading cable operator and broadband service provider in the Basque country in Spain, has fully deployed Incognito's Broadband Command Center to automate the provisioning of its data services. Euskaltel required a DOCSIS 3.0-ready, flexible solution with rich integration capabilities to drive seamless device provisioning operations. Incognito was selected over the competition as a result of a competitive RFP process.

Incognito and Amper delivered Broadband Command Center to Euskaltel on time and within budget, enabling dynamic configuration file building via multiple service class identifiers stored in LDAP. The software's malleability, and Amper's knowledge of customer needs, provided Euskaltel with the option to further define personalized subscriber-specific options.

"Broadband Command Center's support for DOCSIS 3.0 and flexibility in meeting all our provisioning requirements was the key determining factor in our selection process," said Norberto Ojinaga, Engineering and Technological Planning Director of Euskaltel S.A. "Working with Amper as a local system integrator, Incognito demonstrated its excellent partnership capabilities in the smooth deployment of its Broadband Command Center device provisioning solution."

Broadband Command Center is built on a distributed architecture with support for the latest emerging technologies and standards. Its network and vendor agnostic capabilities facilitate the deployment of data, voice and video services in an efficient and cost effective manner for cable, telecommunications and wireless operators.

"Incognito's products have always been built with service providers' best interests in mind," added Stephane Bourque, President and CEO of Incognito Software, "Not only does Broadband Command Center provide support for the latest technologies and standards, but it also comes with a comprehensive set of management and diagnostic tools not offered by any other solution in the industry. Our goals are to help operators bring new services to market quick and easily, and to efficiently manage both new and existing services."
