Cable providers today are under more pressure than ever to offer a gigabit experience to enterprise and residential customers. Recent updates with DOCSIS 3.1 have dramatically increased downstream and upstream capacity to address these needs, however, emerging applications such as virtual reality and ultra-high definition content will demand even greater performance.
